When we became parents, we found ourselves facing a challenge we never expected feeding our baby safely. Something as simple as warming a bottle became a source of stress. Was it too hot? Too cold? Safe enough to feed?
Like so many parents, we relied on the wrist test or shook the bottle to guess the temperature. But deep down, we knew it wasn’t accurate. And in those quiet hours of the night, with a crying newborn in our arms, second guessing only added to the stress.
We searched for a simple, reliable way to check bottle temperature. What we found were complicated thermometers designed for kitchens, not nurseries, and bottle warmers that didn’t actually show the temperature of the milk. There wasn’t a solution built specifically for parents who just want to know that their baby’s milk is safe.
That’s where the idea for Safer Baby began.

The Safer Baby Thermometer is a medical grade, non contact infrared thermometer designed to read the temperature of baby bottles and soft foods instantly. Instead of numbers on a screen that you need to interpret while half asleep, it gives a simple colour coded light:
• Red means too hot
• Blue means too cold
• Yellow means wait
• Green means safe to feed
It’s quick, accurate, hygienic, and designed to make one of the most important parts of caring for a newborn feeding less stressful and more reassuring.
