Works very well with plastic baby bottles. And bowls for purees. I wouldn't recommend using it with thicker glass bottles or insulated sippy cups. The reason being, the temperature reading delivers a result much faster with the plastic bottles. The glass bottles also work, but it seems to take a while longer to decide if the temperature is OK or not. Our baby did have some colic and we found that with the Safer Baby, we have a lot less issues. Less medications and a happy bub.
Brilliant little device. The lights are clear and easy to understand. Makes bottle feeding feel a lot safer. Out of the whole routine of looking after our little baby, the one thing that boggled my mind, was that we measure the temp of milk on the inside of our wrist. That this was ever the acceptable practice just makes me almost scoff out loud. I think the product could do with a little but more detail on the actual plastic housing. If I lend it to a babysitter, they're not going to get it unless I explain how it works. Because by then I've binned the instructions. That's my only critique!
